1/6th-scale Batmobile by Hot Toys dropping soon

Hot Toys picks up the license for Batman, and produces 1/6th-scaled versions of the Batmobile
'The Batmobile in 1/6th-scale? Hell, yes! And I do not mean the new-fangled Tumbler (from Chris Nolan's film) - it's the 1989's iconic monster-mobile designed by the late Anton Furst for Tim Burton's BATMAN! The cockpit canopy slides open and the dashboard is as detailed.'

Ashley Wood and TP Louise's 'Popbot' movie promo
In 2006 independent film company Resolution Independent acquired the rights to make a feature film based on the series. Resolution Independent's Pete Ford is co-producing with Media Funds Management's James M. Vernon and Kristy Vernon.
In March 2011 Resolution announced that production on the film would commence at Docklands Studios Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in June 2011.
The film will be a sci-fi action film with mature themes that mixes live action with motion capture technology and 3D character animation, reportedly similar to Zack Snyder's 300. It should be noted, however, that Popbot's visual style will be vastly different to 300. The producers are aiming to translate the style of Wood's distinct artwork style directly to the big-screen.
Producer Pete Ford said, "Without a doubt we will create a live action version of Ash's art - it's one of the reasons that we got involved with the project in the first place."
Wood added via Twitter, "You want to see how the film will look, look at the book."
